A student asked the wiseman "What is love?"

"There is a paddy field ahead, you walk into it and move forward. Get me ONE paddy which you think is the best. I will wait for you at the end of the field. You will then understand your question by that time," the wiseman replied.

The student entered the field and found that all the paddy surrounding him looked good and fresh. He found it is difficult to pick just one grain as every grain looked better and fresher than the next one.

He kept thinking "The best is yet to come" and kept walking through the field, unable to decide on which paddy grain to pick. As he was making his way through the paddy field, the wiseman suddenly appeared in front of him .

"Where is the best paddy?" the wiseman asked.

"It is too difficult to choose... as every paddy seems to be the best," the student said.

The wiseman looked at him and concluded that the greed and dissatisfaction of human beings keeps us busy looking for the so-called best. Finally, time is wasted and still the 'best' has not been found. And you've lost the one thing that you're looking for - Love.
